Over the last 15 or so years, I’ve spoken with alot of dog owners. In facebook groups, emails, pm’s, zoom calls, youtube lives etc – and the stories told to me are heartbreaking. But yet, these people have no place to go to talk about their traumatic experiences with dog trainers.
I’ve spoken with people that have spent $10k, $20k, $30k to help their dog in any way they can. Hiring dog trainer after dog trainer, hiring behaviorists – and hiring vets and vet behaviorists – only to hear from all of them to behaviorally euthanize the dog cause in their opinion – the dog can’t be fixed. If you are an owner that broke yourself or spent exorbitant amounts of money to help your dog – my hats off to you.
