At the very core of biology, nature’s default design is actually female. Every human life starts with an X chromosome, which carries the vital code needed for survival. Because the Y chromosome carries almost exclusively male-specific genes and lacks this massive array of vital housekeeping genes, the biological baseline for mammalian life is inherently female. Without the specific instructions of a Y chromosome pushing things in a male direction, the body builds a female template by default.

That means every guy out there actually started out on a female blueprint before an active chemical shift took place in the womb. That construction process requires an active switch—like the SRY gene on the Y chromosome triggering testicular development and pumping out hormones to transform the shared anatomy. That’s why men keep physical leftovers from that starting line, like nipples. It’s also why the clitoris and the penis are homologous structures (just varying in size), why the vaginal lips stitch together down the midline to form the scrotum (leaving the perineal raphe as a visible scar line), and why testicles actually originate as ovaries in the baseline blueprint before dropping down into the scrotum.

Once you look past the biology, it turns out females are the real backbone of nature. Just like wild animal packs—such as horse herds led by experienced mares—operate under female leadership, human societies and evolutionary dynamics heavily mirror this matriarchal reality.

Because females carry the heaviest biological weight when it comes to reproduction and survival—investing massive metabolic energy into eggs, gestation, lactation, and high-stakes choices—they naturally drive the complexity of our species. While males generally operate on a steady, linear hormonal baseline driven by testosterone, females navigate complex, rhythmic endocrine symphonies. These constant shifts alter everything from metabolic rate to behavior, requiring a body capable of dynamic, multi-state flexibility rather than a simple, steady-state setting. At the end of the day, nature is built on a female foundation.
